3rd January 2004 - First Firecrackers after so many years in Chinatown

After so many, many years, I would say decades, finally, there was firecrackers in Singapore, Chinatown. Who would want to miss this event?

I was a the top level carpark at People's Park Complex. Other than a few heads in front, I can see the almost everything. After the firecrackers, there was fireworks, directly in front of us!

That time, I was using Olympus C-200 Zoom, a 2.1Megapixel Camera.

The crowds waiting for the firecrackers
Some mini-fireworks before the firecrackers
The firecrackers... blocked by a head.

Very nice pictures! Why has it been so long since they've had fireworks?

That's for comment. Actually, it was a long time since we had firecrackers due to safety reasons. We have a lot of fireworks every year.
